Below are just a few of the John Muggli Contracting projects that have been completed in over 3-decades of service to the region. As you can see, we do commercial, civic and private work.
•John Muggli Contracting cleared all the March 23, 2009 fire-destroyed buildings on Main Street.
•John Muggli Contracting created two berms, a roadway and trucked in large rip-rap to stop the river’s encroachment. Read more about the Yellowstone River Rip-Rap project Jan-March 2015.
•John Muggli Contracting demolished the cinder block building, removed all chain-link fencing and cleared the Midland Lumber Yard lot on Bridge Street in October of 2014.
•John Muggli Contracting demolished the old Tire Rama building and cleaned up the site in June-July 2015.
•John Muggli Contracting prepared the site grounds for the new Cellar Casino at 8th & Main.
•John Muggli Contracting built a fish bypass channel around the 12-mile dam on the Tongue River, which opened up another 50-mile segment of the Tongue River to the fish.
•In 2007, John Muggli Contracting did the demolition of the 6-story Holy Rosary Hospital built in 1950.
•John Muggli Contracting was instrumental in completing the Stower Street extension in July of 2007.
•John Muggli Contracting did the demolition work on the old Miles City Laundry facility.
•John Muggli Contracting did the demolition of the Red Rock Village building off Valley Drive in 2006.
•In 2008, John Muggli Contracting did the preparation and installation of the Carbon Hill water tank.
•In 2006, John Muggli Contracting prepared ground for the Miles City Wal-Mart Supercenter.
•John Muggli Contracting helped to make the Custer County Art & Heritage Center’s front appearance change rapidly, and for the better.
•In 2013, John Muggli Contracting demolished Brewster’s Coffee and Club Lucky casino to make room for what is now Blackiron restaurant. We also removed the 1,000 fuel tanks, dug the lines for services and trucked in 100-tons of fill dirt to bring grade to engineer’s specifications.
•John Muggli Contracting’s operator ‘Backhoe Bob’ (Robert Server) won a 246B Skid Steer Loader at the Backhoe Rodeo on August 20, 2004.
